Marla Royne Stafford
Professor of Marketing, the Lee Business School, University of Nevada-Las Vegas
Dr. Stafford is past Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advertising, past-president of the American Academy of Advertising, the 2016 recipient of the Ivan Preston Award for Outstanding Contribution to Advertising Research and the 2021 Elected Fellow of the Academy. She currently serves as AE of the Journal of Advertising Research. Her research interests include prosocial advertising, health messaging, environmental communication, and advertising & wellbeing. She is also interested in how the use of big data can provide insight into creating effective messages to influence positive consumer decision-making.
